Privacy Policy

How Arbor Gaming collects, uses and protects your data, in line with Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, including your rights and our contact details.

Arbor Gaming (arborprotreeservice.ca) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Who we are & data controller

Arbor Gaming is the organisation responsible for the personal information collected through this site. We are an independent Canadian information site, not a gambling operator. Our privacy officer can be reached at privacy@arborprotreeservice.ca for any question or request concerning your personal information.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site and understand our audience:

  • Analytics data — anonymised or pseudonymised usage information such as pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type, and referring site.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — small files used for site function, analytics and affiliate attribution (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Contact-form submissions — the name, email address and message you provide when you contact us.

We do not knowingly collect financial account details, and we never take gambling deposits — we are not an operator.

How & why we use it (legal basis)

We use your information to operate and improve the site, respond to your enquiries and corrections, measure traffic, and attribute affiliate referrals so we can be paid for them. Our legal basis under PIPEDA is your consent (express, for the contact form and non-essential cookies; implied, for strictly necessary site function) together with our legitimate business interest in running the site. Under Law 25 we rely on your consent for non-essential purposes and process only what is necessary for the purposes described here.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for site function, analytics and affiliate attribution. Non-essential cookies fire only after you consent through our cookie banner. Full details of each category, its purpose and duration — and how to withdraw consent — are set out in our Cookie Policy.

Third parties

We share limited information with service providers who help us run the site, including analytics providers and affiliate networks that track referrals. These parties process data on our behalf under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own unrelated purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved; analytics data is retained in line with our analytics provider’s standard retention period. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights under PIPEDA & Law 25

Depending on where you live in Canada, you have the right to:

AccessSee the data we hold on you
CorrectionFix inaccurate data
Withdraw consentAt any time
DeletionRequest erasure
PortabilityReceive your data (Law 25)
ComplaintTo a regulator

To exercise any of these rights, email our privacy officer at privacy@arborprotreeservice.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), or, if you are a Quebec resident, to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Cross-border data

Some of our service providers (for example, analytics and affiliate networks) may store or process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this happens, the information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure any such transfer is protected by appropriate contractual safeguards, and, as required by Law 25, we assess the privacy implications before transferring personal information outside Quebec.

Children

This site is intended only for adults of legal gambling age — 19+, or 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including HTTPS encryption and access controls — to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take our obligations seriously and, as required under PIPEDA and Law 25, would notify affected individuals and the relevant regulator of any breach posing a real risk of significant harm.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, is always posted on this page. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.

About the Reviewer

Daniel Tremblay

Daniel Tremblay · Senior Casino & Payments Editor · Montreal Quebec

Daniel Tremblay covers online casino payments, Interac e-Transfer, casino bonuses for Arbor Gaming from Montreal, Quebec. Our reviews are based on each operator’s published terms, licensing and cashier options, cross-checked against current Canadian regulation.

We do not invent payout times or star ratings we cannot support. Where a bonus, licence or payment detail could not be verified, the page says so plainly rather than guessing. If you spot something out of date, email us and we will correct it.
